Summary
This app does not collect, transmit or sell personal data. There are no user accounts, no analytics SDKs, no advertising identifiers and no third-party trackers. Everything you type stays on your device.
Data we store on your device
- Your calculator inputs (home price, down payment, rate, term, taxes, HOA, extra payments).
- Scenarios you choose to save, including the name you give them.
- Your selected location, loan type and rate-alert threshold.
This information is written to the app's private storage on your iPhone. If iCloud is enabled on your device, saved scenarios may also be backed up to your own private iCloud account so they survive a reinstall. We have no access to that iCloud data — it belongs to your Apple Account.
Network requests the app makes
- Freddie Mac (freddiemac.com) — downloads the public weekly mortgage-rate survey. No personal information is sent.
- U.S. Census Bureau (api.census.gov) — downloads public county-level property-tax and home-value statistics for the state you select. No personal information is sent.
- A listing page you paste — only when you explicitly paste a link and tap Import, the app requests that single public page to read its asking price. The link is not stored or shared.
These requests reveal your device's IP address to those servers, as any web request does. We do not log, receive or store them ourselves — the app talks to those services directly, with no server of ours in between.
Notifications
If you turn on rate alerts or the weekly rate update, the app schedules local notifications on your device. There is no push server and no device token is registered anywhere.
Children
The app is rated 4+ and does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children under 13.
Deleting your data
Deleting the app removes everything it stored on the device. To remove iCloud-backed scenarios, delete the app and turn off iCloud backup for it in your device settings.
